Harun Tasci - Co-Founder & President, Technology

Harun Tasci, a native of Istanbul, holds a Computer science degree from Capilano College, Canada. Harun's love of computers began at age nine. While following in his father's footsteps in academics, he became an honors graduate from E. Mediterranean University, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in Mechanical engineering. Harun specialized in 3-D Drawing and Design of mechanical parts at EUCLID and IDEAS. His Solar collector project designed and his academic papers published at Professional Engineers Association.

While in the computer science program at Capilano college, Harun met Mehran Halavi and together they founded Just Dial Group in 2003. The group had two main companies in the telecommunication industry in North America: Just Dial Canada as a national operating company in Canada and Just Dial US as a provider of Gold Line long distance services in US until 2003. Between 2003 and 2005, Just Dial Group launced Just VoIP and Just Reconnect divisions to provide home phone services in Ontario, BC, Alberta and Quebec to areas served by Bell and Telus. By 2012, Just Dial Group serviced over 40,000 US and Canadian subscribers.

Harun was Just Dial's Co-Founder CEO and he improved company's profitability more than 1200% before moving into his role as President, Technology in May 2008. Harun continues to share responsibility for day-to-day operations with Mehran Halavi.

Harun's interests include e-business-revenue development, e-commerce solutions, search engine algorithms and internet marketing.
